In addition to the natural attractions, the historic villages of Essex and Chester are just minutes away, along with several theaters, art galleries, museums and antique shops. While out exploring for the day, you will find no shortage of wonderful dining choices throughout the area, several within walking distance of the inn.
The area is home to several wonderful museums with both notable art and historical collections. Spend a nice day museum-hopping from Deep River to Mystic.
