Fresh and flavorful! Start your morning at our Connecticut inn with a full, sumptuous, locally sourced, country breakfast, then spend the rest of your day exploring the River Valley area including Deep River, Essex, and Chester.  Breakfast is served in candlelit dining rooms at 9:00 am. For early risers, our locally roasted coffee and tea are available in the upstairs coffee room at 7:00 am. Our menu changes daily and features a savory dish one day and a sweet dish the next. You will never have the same dish twice! Help yourself to homemade granola, fresh fruit, and muffins or bread that are available every day. We use the freshest ingredients, including fruit and vegetables from the inn’s bountiful gardens, and organic whenever possible. Course selections vary seasonally to match the weather and the availability of fresh produce.
