Start your morning at our Connecticut B&B with a full, sumptuous, locally sourced country breakfast served in candlelit dining rooms at 8:30 am. For early risers, coffee and tea are available in the upstairs coffee room at 7:00 am. Our menu changes daily and features a savory dish one day and a sweet dish the next. You will never have the same dish twice! Help yourself to homemade granola, fresh fruit, and muffins or bread that are available every day. We use the freshest ingredients, including fruit and vegetables from the inn’s bountiful gardens, and organic whenever possible. Course selections vary seasonally to match the weather and the availability of fresh produce.

Should you have special dietary needs or food allergies, please let us know at the time of your reservation and check-in. We are at our best with special requests if we have advance notice.

Comfortable Atmosphere

Generally, seating is communal so that you may enjoy the fascinating stories other guests have to tell. We see guests from all over the world so relax, join in the great conversations and meet new friends while planning your daily excursions. Many of our guests tell us that the breakfast and the conversation with other guests is the best part of their trip. If however, you need some quality alone time, please tell us and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

Early Departure

If you need to depart before 8:00 am, we are happy to prepare a breakfast-to-go bag. For guests who prefer to sleep in or skip breakfast altogether, we ask that you notify us the night before so we can plan breakfast accordingly.
